Andromeda is such an impressive target. I’ve shot it so many times now and every time I feel like I’m doing just a little better and getting a bit more data that I missed out on the last time.

Here we have two examples of the same data but different approaches to showing off the data. The top has a more prominent layering of the Hydrogen data (the red sections along the dust lanes), a slightly different color balance, and I spent a bit more time bringing out the contrast of the dark dust lanes vs the rest of the spiral disk while not making the contrast feel unnatural.
