WR 134 is a Wolf-Rayet star that resides in the Cygnus constellation.

The teal-blue circular feature of the image has so much potential to be a show stopper. The filaments reaching out from the WR star at the center make me think of a giant gaping maw, perhaps Shai Hulud for the Dune fans out there.

It’s an interesting target that I’ve attempted a couple times before but have never been quite satisfied with the results. I think I need to go deep on this target to do it justice. Instead of 5-minute exposures, I’m thinking I need to do 10 or 15 minute long sub-exposures. I think I’ve got time to do it this year, so maybe I’ll send out an update when I have that ready.
